From 2017 to 2022, we faced a crisis that no one in the industry could ignore. Rooftops were filling up, and open land was becoming a rare commodity. Every error in site selection meant wasted time, lost revenue, and opportunities slipping through our fingers. It became clear: if we didn’t innovate, we’d fall behind like so many others. That’s when we made a bold decision. Instead of looking for what everyone wanted, we focused on what everyone avoided—degraded land beneath high-voltage power lines.

This discovery was a game-changer. But as with any breakthrough, there were obstacles. The electromagnetic fields were a risk, not just to our equipment, but potentially to human health. We knew we couldn’t tackle this alone, so we partnered with the Milan Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute, the region’s leading authority in electrical research. Together, we ventured into uncharted territory, driven by a singular goal: to turn this challenge into our greatest advantage.

Artificial Neural Network under Photovoltaic (ANNPV) algorithm identifies the best configurations for energy production and agricultural compatibility, transforming complex land assessments into clear, actionable insights. Today’s advancements in AI technology have reached a level of maturity that allows us to confidently apply it in this project, ensuring that the ANNPV algorithm can process vast amounts of data in real time, delivering optimal results for both energy generation and sustainable agriculture.
